At the recent NXT Heatwave 2025 event, several new champions emerged, showcasing thrilling performances. In a notable cross-brand encounter, Ash by Elegance, formerly known as Dana Brooke, triumphed over Jacy Jayne and Masha Slamovich in a Triple Threat Match, claiming the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
The conclusion of this match saw Jacy Jayne executing her rolling encore finisher on Masha Slamovich. However, members of the Elegance Brand intervened, pulling Jayne from the ring just as she attempted a pin. Seizing the moment, Ash ascended the top rope and executed a swanton bomb on Slamovich, securing the pinfall to become the new champion.
Following Ash's victory, TNA President Carlos Silva celebrated at ringside, marking the return of the Knockouts Title to TNA programming after being held by Jayne for 36 days. Jayne had previously won the title at TNA Slammiversary, where she defeated Slamovich, becoming a dual champion with both the NXT Women’s and Knockouts Titles.
This victory at NXT Heatwave 2025 not only marked Ash's first TNA Knockouts Championship but also her inaugural reign as a women's world champion in professional wrestling. She currently holds the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship alongside Heather by Elegance. Meanwhile, Jayne retains the NXT Women’s Title and is set to defend it against Lola Vice at No Mercy next month.
Blake Monroe Achieves Milestone at NXT Heatwave 2025
In another exciting match at NXT Heatwave 2025, Blake Monroe faced off against Jordynne Grace, marking her first singles victory at a WWE premium live event. The match was a back-and-forth affair, with Monroe executing a powerful suplex, although Grace managed to kick out during the final moments.
Grace attempted to lift Monroe but ended up delivering a sit-down powerbomb from the top rope. Remarkably, Monroe kicked out at two, retaliating by sending Grace into the exposed turnbuckle before finishing with a DDT for the pinfall victory. Prior to this event, Monroe had teamed with Grace at the Great American Bash PLE to defeat Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley.
